“I grew up on a pecan farm/nursery in Goldthwaite, Texas. It's on the farm along the Colorado River that I developed my love for nature and the outdoors. I decided to pursue my interests at Texas A&M University. I graduated from Texas A&M with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Systems Management.

“Upon graduation, I went to work for a large landscape company in Austin. I left that firm to manage a local wholesale nursery. After several years in the nursery industry, I decided to return to the landscaping side and start my own business.

“I have over 10 years of working experience in landscaping and have gained unique knowledge having worked in both facets of the industry. I am a certified professional with the Texas Nursery and Landscape Association (TNLA) and served as the Landscape Director for the TNLA Region 8 board from 2008-2010.”

John and his wife Bonnie reside in Lakeway with their two sons Brant and Chase.
